Darkness is approaching, but it cannot engulf those who have risen above — I expressed this state because we are living through it, but I know: the night is not eternal.
There is an inner forest that lives within each of us — with roots of fear, shadows of doubt, and delicate stems of faith that rise above everything else.
Flowers are souls reaching upward. They bloom from the longing to touch the Light, like messengers of hope turned toward God.
The Qur’an repeatedly emphasizes that a soul mindful of Allah is filled with light — and then lights the way for others:
“And is one who was dead and We gave him life and made for him light by which to walk among the people — like one who is in darkness and will never emerge from it?”
(Qur’an, Surah 6: Al‑Anʿām, Ayah 122)
Flowers are the souls that have received the light, absorbed it, and risen — unafraid of the encroaching darkness. They are like the believer whose heart is bound to the Truth, even in an hour of shadow. The closer one is to Allah, the longer one sees His Light.
“[To the righteous it will be said], ‘O reassured soul, return to your Lord, well‑pleased and pleasing [to Him]…’”
(Qur’an, Surah 89: Al‑Faḍr, Ayah 27–28)
In moments of spiritual sunset, when faith is tested not by a clear day but by the gathering darkness, the very blooming of the soul becomes a form of light.
I believe every soul is capable of being a conduit of Light—not from itself, but through itself.
I feel my artworks as prayers. May this artwork help you hold on to the Light in difficult moments.
