Have you ever seen a saffron field?At first glance it seems simple, but the longer you look, the more beauty you begin to notice.Each flower feels like a small miracle, quietly reminding us that life itself is a gift and that every moment matters.
The pomegranate tree is one of the oldest symbols known to humankind. Some believe that its branches were the very Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Within this symbol lives another myth: the story of Persephone, who went down into the underworld to find herself in the darkness and then return to the light.
“The Path to Paradise”, like many of my artworks, reflects the movement of the soul. A person’s path begins with the search for support, with that timid attempt to grasp something that might keep you from falling into the abyss. We often walk blindly, in the darkness of our own unknowing, and each step feels as though it is given through a trial- one not always visible to others, yet known to God alone.
The soul remembers freedom, even in a cage. I created this artwork by touching every petal as if it were a wounded soul. Living flowers, broken—yet perhaps even more beautiful—symbolize human fragility, our inner beauty that others may try to trample. But the voice of life cannot be silenced.
Sometimes I feel that the art of carpet weaving - the crafting of patterns, the ability to create universes, an inseparable part of the Azerbaijani people’s soul - lives within me and gives me the strength to weave tirelessly my own meadows from grass, moss, wood, leaves, and flowers. I, too, “weave” my living carpets.
Darkness is approaching, but it cannot engulf those who have risen above — I expressed this state because we are living through it, but I know: the night is not eternal.
Many of you ask when visual and floral art became my primary forms of self-expression.But the truth is, I never left the world of cinema and music — they remain an inseparable part of my inner world.I can truly call myself a musician among artists.
Paradise for Romantics 70×85 cm; 1999–2004. I dedicated this artwork to my family. It speaks of the birth of love and the unity of all living things on Earth. I immortalized this moment so that I could return to it again and again.

Step into my home and you'll be greeted this beautiful artwork titled "The Path of Truth" right away. Back in 2002, I finally got the chance to fulfil my childhood dream of visiting Mecca. It was something I promised my father’s uncle Huseynqulu I would do. Thankfully, it all came true in back 2002. When I prayed for the first time in Mecca, I remembered my great-grandmother, Kerbelai Meshadi Molla Sugra Khanum, who I was named after. Looking at the prayer mat, I felt inspired to dedicate an artwork to this special place.
In the work "Fountain of Love," I tried to convey the incredible energy I felt only on the land of Azerbaijan. I hope I succeeded in this. Just think about how rich our land is! Remember our black gold and the ever-burning Fire Mountain. The roses seem to be the flames worshipped by our ancestors, and our winds remind us of the importance of preserving our traditions and native culture by bringing ancient legends and wisdom.
